Early Autumn 10/2005 Tremont Area Great Smoky Mtns National Park

These photos shot just past The Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont
The trailhead starts by the side of the stream and winds upward

All photos taken with Nikon D70s Digital camera. Each shot from a tripod with Nikkor 18-70 mm and 55-200 mm DX lenses. Water exposures shot at 3 to 5 seconds @ f/29 through f/32





The days are getting cooler but crisp and clear


Moss and now fallen leaves, coat the wet rocks

Looking upward at some early color
Other than the use of a polarizing filter, no enhancements were made of the photo below
